On May 30th - 31st, the Brawl of America stage combat workshop will return to the University of Minnesota’s Rarig Center. The Brawl of America, sanctioned by the Society of American Fight Directors, features internationally-renowned, industry-leading instructors from around the country offering classes at all skill levels in many different aspects of stage violence. Brawl of America students will develop the skills needed to perform theatrical violence that is both safe and dramatically effective. SAFD classes are recognized for being oriented towards actors, giving them a versatile toolset that makes them more dynamic in performance and marketable in the audition room.
