From January 27 through Feb 5, 2017 Z Puppets Rosenschnoz and In the Heart of the Beast Puppet & Mask Theatre present Cellula.  An innovative production from Minneapolis performers Z Puppets Rosenschnoz, Cellula illuminates the true marvels of cell science inside us all with dazzling glow in the dark puppetry and live a cappella music. This glowing magnification of mitosis features highly acclaimed improvisational vocalists Mankwe Ndosi and Libby Turner with the blacklight puppetry of award-winning performers Shari Aronson and Chris Griffith, directed by master puppeteer Kurt Hunter. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Cellula was developed with grants from Puppeteers of America, MN State Arts Board, Metropolitan Regional Arts Council and In the Heart of the Beast Puppet & Mask Theatre/Jerome Foundation. For a video preview of Cellula visit https://vimeo.com/183144145.  Come early for the Microscope Fun Gallery beginning one hour before each show. Explore the connections between art and science with hands-on activities with state of the art and vintage magnification devices hosted by volunteers from MN Microscopy Society, Mia and Mill City Museum.
