Cellular Cinema presents CAVE2: Jesse McLean
810 W Lake St MPLS
MN 55408
United States
A primary focus of Jesse McLean's work is the power-and the failure-of the mediated experience to bring people together. She is motivated by a deep curiosity regarding human behavior and relationships, and the ways emotions are lived in an age of mediated experience. Her recent projects are connected to the fraught relationships people have with computers, technology we both rely on and resent, and in contrasting the finite capacities of the nonhuman with infinite human desires.
Cellular Cinema is proud to present its second annual Festival of Cinematic & Audio Visual Experimentation (CAVE) in the dark depths of early January, during some of the shortest days of the year, in one of the chilliest locales in the nation.
Friday, January 5 at 7:00pm (doors at 6:30) and 9:00pm (doors at 8:30), and Saturday, January 6 at 2:00pm (doors at 1:30), 7:00pm (doors at 6:30), and 9:00pm (doors at 8:30) $10/$25 for a festival pass
