"Director's Choice: Clowns and Others"

The Ballet leaps into its 2017–18 season, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Robert Gardner and his tenth as Artistic Director. The performance features Salvatore Aiello’s delightful “Clowns and Others,” George Balanchine’s fiery “Tarantella,” Aiello’s starkly contemporary “The Waiting Room,” Allen Fields’ regal “Court Dances,” and a premiering work by emerging choreographer Isaac Sharratt, dancer with the Milwaukee Ballet. The performance also features guest musicians Erin Aldridge and Alexander Sandor.
