Mom! The Musical
Mom! is back by popular demand, just in time for Mother's Day! Join us for a new, expanded version of this original musical that celebrates the twists and turns, delights and dilemmas, rewards and regrets of parenting. From trying to reason with a toddler having a tantrum to panicking at the prospect of a parent-teacher conference; from staving off unwanted child-rearing advice to struggling to accept the choices of grown children; from trying to rekindle marital passion to trying to shield kids from the heartbreak of divorce, this musical celebrates the humor and the terror of parenting.
Mom! was one of the winners of Chameleon's 13th Annual New Play Contest in 2012. Selected songs and scenes from the show were performed at the New Play Festival on September 8, 2013, and the show premiered as part of Chameleon's 16th Season in April-May, 2014.
Tickets are $25; $22 for students, seniors, Fringe Button holders, and groups of 8 or more; or $19 for groups of 20 or more, and are available in person at the Ames Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster online or at 1-800-982-2787 (additional fees may apply).
