The Hoopla Train with Yard Master Yip and his Polkastra

Get ready for some fun and dancing with the triumphant return of the Hoopla Train with Yard Master Yip and his Polkastra, on their 2015 Historic Minnesota Ballroom Tour!!! It’s Lawrence Welk meets Hee Haw in the old Vaudevillian tradition with live music, singing, sketch comedy, feats of amazement and featuring a community talent contest!  Children age 4 to 104 will love this walk down memory lane.  Bring your dancing shoes and be ready to Polka, Waltz and fox trot to the music of days gone by. The fun starts with music and dancing at 6p.  Food and beverages will be available.  Don’t be the one person in town who got left behind crying in the caboose! 

The Hoopla Train is produced by Sod House Theater and features; Darcey Engen, Nathan Keepers, Elise Langer, Kimberly Richardson, Luverne Seifert, Andrea Wollenberg and Jim Lichtcheidl as Yard Master Yip.

The production is made possible in part by a grant provided by the Minnesota State Arts Board through and appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature from the State’s arts and cultural heritage fund with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
