Vivify- A Still Life in Motion

Vivify- A Still Life in Motion explores the kinetic possibilities of iconic visual art. MDC is excited by the challenge of reinterpreting classic works of art through the mediums of music and movement. Dancers will bring to life the elements of art with a focus of the visceral connection of color and emotion. Though the majority of dances are choreographed to instrumental music, MDC seeks to honor the voices of the artists they highlight by using their own statements as a transitional element.
