Hopkins Royal Productions to Present “Winter One Acts 2020”

Hopkins Royal Productions is pleased to present performances of their annual Winter One Acts for 2020, on Thursday - January 30th,  Friday - January 31st and Saturday - February 1st at 7pm in the Hopkins High School Little Theater.

Performances will include:
“Relocation” written by Elizabeth Pringle
“Twitch” written by Stephen Gregg
“The Women of Troy” - From the classic by Euripides. Adapted by David Grote.
“Speed Date” written by Janet Allard

Hopkins students will present four unique one-act productions, including the competition piece “Relocation” which has been entered for the Minnesota State High School League's Section 6AA One Act Play Festival. The festival performance takes place on January 22 at Washburn High School.

This season's collection of One Acts will entertain audiences with a variety of short plays, comedies, and drama that cover a variety of themes and topics. The competition piece “Relocation” will be presented along with three other one acts on January 30th through February 1st at 7pm each evening at the Hopkins High School.

Over 50 Hopkins students serve in a variety of roles - as actors, stage managers, and technical crew - sharing their creativity, passion and skills to make this theatrical production happen.

Says Royal Productions director Natalie Foster. “I’m always excited to present these selections to the community through the hard work and talent of our One Act casts and crews. And to share these pieces with the community at large."
