It's 2M's annual "Employee Appreciation Night", and everyone is ready to celebrate. But a 10 year curse threatens to derail the proceedings. Mysterious disappearances, stolen blueprints, lax security...and the "Big Cheese" is in the crosshairs. But remember, you can't spell "manslaughter" without "laughter".

A perennial favorite, “Let’s Kill the Boss” is our longest-running show. A goofy spoof of corporate culture, you’ll wish YOUR workplace was this much fun!

Mystery Cafe dishes out a hilarious comedy caper, in which you and your table are invited to solve the crime...all while enjoying a delicious 3-course meal.

Upon arrival, you’ll be seated by members of the cast. The show consists of four acts, in between which you’ll be given a course...and a clue. You’ll also be provided with “Mystery Money,” so you can bribe characters for more information.

The clues point to one answer, and a prize is awarded to our “Super Sleuth” winner. We also give prizes for the most...shall we say...“creative” answer. Right or wrong, you’ll be laughing all the way to the solution. You may not crack the case, but you’ll certainly bust a gut!

This sidesplitting, uplifting peek into the lives of the rural Norwegian Lutherans who audiences first fell in love with in 2005 is the sixth chapter of the story begun in the original Church Basement Ladies. In Rise Up O Men, series familiars Mrs. Mavis Gilmerson, Mrs. Vivian Snustad, and Mrs. Karin Engleson are busy with preparations for the church’s 1964 Centennial Celebration, and the menfolk of the parish have their own problems to solve. Karin’s husband Elroy, farmer Carl and Great War vet Arlo are joined in brotherhood by series staple Pastor E.L. Gunderson. Their camaraderie unites them as they deal with furnace salesmen, looming retirement, rival Protestant denominations, the Pastor’s bad jokes, and Arlene’s even-worse cooking.

For over a year, Michael Larson devoted his life to studying the Press Your Luck! game board — he quit his job, he filled his living room with televisions and video cassette recorders, he pored over thousands of hours of episodes convinced he could crack the code… And then he did.
On May 19th, 1984, Michael Larson shocked American audiences by winning an unprecedented $110,000 in a single game.
This January, Sandbox Theatre will share this man’s obsession to beat the odds and win the cash in Big Money.

America has one great mythical figure lodged deep in its heart: the Rugged Individual. We celebrate the lone wolves who buck institutions, who are faster, better, smarter than everyone else. We love the idea that a scrappy underdog can beat The System.

But is it that simple – work hard and get ahead? The truth is much more complicated. In
Big Money, we’ll unpack the myths, explore the truths and ask ourselves what it really means to win in America.

Liberty Rose Johnson from Liberty Falls, Wisconsin is turning 105! So, of course, the civil residents of Liberty Falls, right off Highway 47, and just up Constitution Creek, are planning a big old celebration — songs and speeches, a cavalcade of distinguished dignitaries, and cake! But, OH NO — things don’t go quite as planned.

Join THE MOVING COMPANY for this Operatic Comedy - loaded up with lots of laughs, lots of singing, some dancing and, of course, cake.

We feel it's the right time to make a show that embraces our ugly side.

That confronts all the wrong things we’re hearing right now.

And allows us to laugh at it. We have to laugh. And maybe even find the beauty in it.

So, come on over to Liberty Falls, 54321, and have a good laugh. Even if you feel bad about it.

The Nine Muses of Greek Mythology were deities that gave artists, philosophers, and individuals the necessary inspiration for creation. We're just a collection of local Twin Cities artists that happen to be inspired by theatre.

We're excited to announce our debut show - John Cariani's Almost, Maine. Almost, Maine comprises nine short plays that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town.

The New York Times says:

"There are things you should know about the weird and wondrous Maine town called Almost. It is the sort of place where a young woman, if she had a broken heart, might put all 19 pieces inside a brown paper bag and carry it around. The kind of town where a guy cannot deny that he has fallen in love because he suddenly starts falling down. . .A town where you can get up from a park bench, walk around the world and return by the end of Act II. Where the local hangout is the Moose Paddy and, as the waitress points out, 'Drinks are free if you’re sad.'"

A Lutheran take on the classical "hero" journey, RISE UP, O MEN is the story of men (and women) who become larger than themselves; it's the story of a group of farmers and John Deere dealers, and church basement ladies, who rise to the requirement of heroism in order to help their community and its future. RISE UP, O MEN is a new musical featuring the men of the church and your favorite church basement Ladies who serve them. The year is 1964, in the basement kitchen of the Lutheran Church in rural Minnesota. As these hard-working farmers discuss their scrap lumber piles and their tractors and preparations for the Centennial Celebration, they unintentionally disrupt the order of the kitchen...but that's what happens when you let the roosters in the hen house.

A great American Musical Theatre classic, magically returns to the Main Stage!

Come along to the idyllic kingdom of Camelot. Revel in the rich, deeply romantic legend of King Arthur and his beloved Queen, Guenevere. Celebrate the dashing Sir Lancelot, the gallant Knights of the Round Table, the mystical wizard Merlin and the Lady of the Lake from the mists of Avalon.

Beyond romance, noble quests and magic spells lie twisted plots, inner demons and betrayal – all threatening to snuff out Arthur’s dreams to build the greatest kingdom ever known – one where true justice and compassion reign supreme. The ideals of Camelot are ones we long for in our own day, making Camelot a hopeful legend for all time.

Written by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe (My Fair LadyBrigadoon), Camelot is a multi-Tony Award-winner, including one for Best Musical Score. Camelot is based on the King Arthur legends found in T.H. White’s novel The Once and Future King.

Rediscover the romance and grandeur of Camelot - at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.
