Walking Shadow Co-Artistic Director John Heimbuch performs Charlie Bethel's fierce hourlong retelling of Beowulf.
This is a faithful and accessible adaptation of the classic Old English poem about a warrior king and some famous monsters, modernizing the wit, vigor, and meaty language of the original Anglo-Saxon epic.
Available until May 31.
This is the archived video from April 2, 2020, with optional pop-up dramaturgy.
- You do not need a Facebook account to view.
- Skip to about 13 minutes in (after the “preshow” for the live audience to settle in).
