Rosetown Playhouse is looking for artistic staff for the upcoming adapted production of "A Christmas Carol". Performance dates are December 3-12. Rehearsals begin October 25th.

We are seeking:
Music director
Choreographer
Set Builder / Design
Props
and possibly more positions as needed.

Auditions for The Play’s the Thing Productions of “70, Girls, 70” featuring the music of John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, (composers of Caberet & Chicago) and book by Ebb and Norman L. Martin, will be held on Monday and Tuesday October 4 & 5 at 7pm at the Metcalf Jr. High school cafeteria and vocal room in Burnsville, located at 2250 Diffley Rd off of Cedar Ave.

Call backs will be held Wednesday October 6 at the same location, as will all rehearsals up to Tech Week.

Bring a prepared song and readings will be from the script.

Male: 9-12 years old. Longish hair and warm, curious eyes. He is somehow both innocent and wise. Happy to be here and open to whatever comes next. Drumming is a plus (but not necessary).
Any ethnicity.

Female: 12-14 years old. Striking, dressed mostly in black with black eye liner. She’s off-kilter. Special, but maybe only Timothy sees it as first. She’s the type of girl who’s in charge without having to do anything.

This original modern screwball comedy written by Ruth Virkus, directed by Crystal Schneider, was a sleeper hit with excellent reviews at Theatre in the Round in this summer’s Fringe Festival! It will be remounted in conjunction with the smash hit "An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein" at the Theatre Garage November 12-21 as Freshwater’s inaugural production.

Masquers Theatre in Forest Lake is looking to hire for our 2011 season

We open with a dinner theatre production of “Don’t Hug Me” by Phil and Paul Olson. This musical comedy celebrates Minnesota with songs such as “I’m a Walleye Woman in a Crappie Town” and “I Wanna go to the Mall of America.” Production dates are Feb. 4-28th, 2011 for 11 performances at Stella’s on 97 in Forest Lake.

The summer productions are “Little Shop of Horrors” and “The Music Man.” Both will be performed at the Forest Lake High School.
