Audition for Door to Door

Door to Door by Elyse Evans

In this new play, we take a journey with a young woman who was raised as a Jehovah's witness. We delve into her past experiences. Viewing her life through a lens colored by her love of films passed down to her by her father, we uncover the truth of how lives are shaped by being raised in a strict fundamentalist religion. A story about religious dogma, sexuality, and the dreams of what it means to be truly free.
