After years of paying her dues, Natalie finally lands her dream role in a play at a local prestigious regional theater. Shortly after casting, the director steps down and Natalie's wife Lyssa is called in to replace him. While both are wary it may put a strain on their relationship, both opportunities are too good to pass up and they agree to work together for the first time. The rehearsal process becomes stressful for both as they sacrifice personal happiness for successful careers.
Natalie Halverson- Driven, hardworking. Trusts her instincts but still seeks the approval of her wife and director. She is the kinder and more giving person in her marriage
Lyssa Davis- Set in her ways and sure of herself as a director. She loves her wife and wishes her success, even if Natalie needs a little push to do things correctly. Lyssa is more more dominant and less tactful than her partner.
