The Tragedy of Obi-Wan Kenobi is a retelling of Star Wars, starting with a simple question… “What if Obi-Wan Kenobi was actually the villain?” What other secrets might be hiding in plain sight? It’s a comedy that asks serious questions about who we are, and why we do what we do.

Actors should prepare a one to two minute monologue, either comedy or drama. Familiarity with (and love for) Star Wars is a big plus.
We will be scheduling in 10 minute increments throughout the available times. Please email [email protected] in advance of the audition, and let us know any times that will not work for you. Feel free to attach a resume and headshots.
Luke Skywalker - A whiny teenager and Obi-Wan’s weapon. Primarily drama, stage combat.
Darth Vader / Anakin Skywalker - A whiny grownup and Obi-Wan’s arch-enemy. Primarily drama, stage combat.
Emperor Palpatine - A supervillain with a surprising back story. Primarily drama.
Princess Leia - A strong, confident woman. A high-energy role. Primarily drama.
R2D2 - The other strong, confident woman. Physical comedy (using only beeping noises and facial expressions).
C3PO - An incompetent droid. Comedy.
Chewbacca - A walking carpet. Comedy.
Greedo - A bounty hunter. Comedy.
