Auditions: Theatre Pro Rata - Up: The Man in the Flying Chair

Announcing auditions for two teen roles in Theatre Pro Rata’s production Up: the Man in the Flying Chair, by Bridget Carpenter, directed by Carin Bratlie Wethern.

About Up:
20 years ago Walter Griffin attached 45 helium-filled weather balloons to a lawn chair and found himself 16,000 feet above the world. Today he’s furiously holding onto his dreams and the faded memory of that glorious day, doing everything he can to keep his feet from touching the ground.

Performance Dates:
May 26-June 11, 2017
Performing at Park Square Theatre’s Andy Boss Thrust Stage

Rehearsal Dates:
April 24-May 25. Weekday evenings and weekend afternoons, 5 days a week.

2 teens (1m/1f, ages 15-18)

All adult roles (Walter Griffin, Helen Griffin, Aunt Chris, and Philippe Petit) have already been cast.

Stipend paid.

Audition Dates:
