Seeking experienced actors for DISCREPANCY, a Science Fiction short film set in the universe of John Heimbuch’s 2010 stageplay “The Transdimensional Couriers Union”, shooting this spring in the Twin Cities. SYNOPSIS
“Discrepancy” is a short film about technology, love, and longing. When an instantaneous travel device is released, a lone IT Engineer must protect her site from takeover by a rival corporation, while also navigating her own romantic feelings about a coworker. 

ROLES
Emily "Trig" Trigorin
– Female, late 20s/early 30s. A skilled IT professional. Thoughtful and a little lonely, but determined not to let her personal life interfere with the job she has to do. This is a highly physical role. Combat, stunt, or movement training is a plus.

Brennan Cole – Male, early 30s. Trig’s co-worker and love interest. A technical specialist whose romanticism often get the better of him. This is a highly physical role. Combat, stunt, or movement training is a plus.

Vivian Miles – Female, late 20s/early 30s. Part of the release team. Pragmatic to the point of ruthlessness. This is a highly physical role. Combat, stunt, or movement training is a plus.

IT Agents – Any gender, late 20s/early 30s. Agents from a rival tech company. These are highly physical roles. Combat, stunt, or movement training is a plus.

Eleanor Morgan – Female, 40s. CEO of a tech startup.

Renee Goddard – Female, 30s. Head Engineer. 

Stephen Pak – Male, 30s. Site Engineer.

Tech Reporter – Any gender, 30s.

Office Workers – Any gender, age 20s – 50s.
