Collective Unconscious Performance, 2019-2020 General Auditions
Collective Unconscious is holding general auditions for our 2019-2020 season. Official titles and performance dates to be announced at our season launch party later this spring.
Collective Unconscious is seeking adult performers ages 21+ - actors, movers, singers, and puppeteers. We are looking for performers of all abilities and backgrounds. Performers of color and LGBTQIA+ performers are strongly encouraged to audition. $400 stipend for all performers.

The Tempest (outdoor performances)
Auditions for "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare, presented by the Cromulent Shakespeare Company and directed by Tim (chief) Jopek, will be held Saturday, March 2 at Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church, 1620 East 46th Street, Minneapolis.
This is a collaborative, outdoor production playing in Twin Cities area parks and other outdoor locations throughout the month of June, 2019. The production will run between 75 and 90 minutes. We encourage gender-neutral casting and are open to providing theater opportunities to all types and skill levels.

Looking for kids grades 3 - 5/6 for video for the National Theatre for Children
The National Theatre for Children (NTC) is filming a short marketing video featuring kids in grades 3 through 5/6. The structure will be similar to the “Kids React” videos that can be found on YouTube. Performers will be reading from educational graphic novels and giving their opinions on them. We will also introduce them to challenges from an escape room-type classroom game and having them give us on-camera reactions to those as well.

Auditions - Moon Over Buffalo
A Comedy.
Moon over Buffalo marked Carol Burnett’s triumphant return to Broadway after 30 years (for which she received a Tony Award nomination). Moon Over Buffalo later opened at London’s legendary Old Vic starring Joan Collins and Frank Langella, under the title Over the Moon. It was directed on Broadway by Tom Moore, and in London by Ray Cooney.

Auditions for Arts’ Nest Queered Classics Series: Hamlet
The Queered Classics Series through Glowing Ember aims to normalize queer relationships and build community by telling stories with queer characters, that aren’t centralized around being queer. This spring, they will be putting a queer twist on the classic drama Hamlet.
