Teatro del Pueblo is hiring a full time Managing Director. While the Artistic Director provides the vision, artistic integrity, programming and face for the organization, the Managing Director supports and manages the engine that keeps the company efficient and stable. Teatro del Pueblo is looking for a curious and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and socially conscious committed team to make a mark in the world by engaging community through the arts. The theater company promotes Latinx culture through the creation and presentation of performing arts, multidisciplinary arts and educational programming. The Managing Director will play an active role in the organization and maintenance of Teatro del Pueblo’s infrastructure and finances while supporting events and educational programs that enrich the community we serve. The position includes additional training if necessary.

Qualified candidates will have;
- Experience in administration, preferably arts and/or non-profit administration
- Experience in developmental activities
- Creating and working with budgets
- Marketing experience
- Experience managing staff.
The ideal candidate will be a team leader, excellent communicator, well organized with attention to detail and the flexibility and innovation to help take the organization to the next level. The candidate should be a self-starter with the motivation to create and implement strategies. Familiarity with Mac computers, Quickbooks, general database knowledge, Microsoft Office, DonorPerfect and Google Drive a plus. Training in all of these areas is also possible
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Arts Administration, Business, Theater, Communications, or other related fields is a plus but not required.
