Assistant Producer: Assist in the casting, creation and execution of all shows and events at Valleyfair Amusement Park. Candidate should have experience and knowledge in theatrical production, excellent communication, multitasking and organizational skills, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment. Seasonal position February 2019-October 2019. Contract length negotiable.

Teaching Artist - Mask Making/Costumes and Folk Dancing

We are looking for a teaching artist January 7-10 and 14-17 to teach mask making/costuming to a group of 2nd graders, as well as a folk dance teacher for a group of kindergartners at Stonebridge Elementary School as part of a residency through The Zephyr Theatre.

We will provide your desired supplies for the project and there is much flexibility in the structure of the class.

Here is the schedule:

Kindergarten – Folk Dancing 8:55am-9:55am, 9:55am-10:55am, 11:25am-12:25pm

2nd Grade – Costume/Mask Making 9:25am-10:25am, 1:15pm-2:15pm, 2:15pm-3:15pm

Seeking costumers for First Lady

The Lex-Ham Community Theater is seeking persons to lead, co-lead, and/or assist with the costume design for its fall production of First Lady by Katharine Dayton & George Kaufman.  The play is set among the political and diplomatic who's who of Washington, D.C. in the 1930s.  The play opens on September 28 in Saint Paul.  The play has a cast of about 25, so there are wonderful opportunities for creativity.

There is a $200 stipend for the lead costume designer.

Become a Project SUCCESS Program Coordinator!

Project SUCCESS is a youth-development organization that motivates and inspires students to dream about their futures, helps them create a plan to get there, and gives them the tools and support they need to achieve their goals. We work with over 13,000 6th—12th graders in the Minneapolis school district each year. 

Our Program Coordinators engage in all operational aspects of Project SUCCESS programming including theater events, field trips, middle school musicals, outdoor learning experiences, and college tours.
