Four Humors is seeking collaboratively-minded artists to perform in an original, devised comedy “Hobo Stew” running May 29 - June 13, 2020 at Open Eye Figure Theater in Minneapolis.
We will be holding six, 2-hour workshop-style auditions on three nights in February at our Ivy Arts Building rehearsal space in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis. These workshops are open to all, regardless of performance experience, education, or background, and we highly encourage artists of color, LGBTQA+, women, and artists with differing abilities to attend.
Classics Lost ‘n’ Found Theater Company, a community theater in south Minneapolis, has announced auditions for its Spring 2020 production of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.” The cast will need 7 men and 7 women, ranging in age from 15-70, with 4 of them in the 20-40 age range. Actors will be required to sing an a cappella song and to read from the script. Inability to sing will not preclude a person from being cast.

The Northfield Arts Guild is hosting auditions for the third show of its 60th Anniversary Theater season: Grey Gardens, a musical with book by Doug Wright, music by Scott Frankel, and lyrics by Michael Korie, directed by Mishia Edwards. Freshwater Theatre is thrilled to present the regional premiere of The Bucket List of Booze Club by Maureen Paraventi, and directed by Rachel Flynn. Bucket List is a whip smart and very real comedy/drama about a group of female friends navigating more than one kind of change of life in their 50s.
The Old Log Theatre is seeking 5M & 1F for a 1950s Rock & Roll musical. Title to be announced at a later date.
Contract spans from mid May 2020-mid February 2021.
Pay is $500 per week.
Auditions will take place on Monday, January 27th from 12-4 and Tuesday, January 28th 2020 from 12-4 @ The Old Log Theatre.
