Minnesota Renaissance Festival Entertainment Auditions
SHAKOPEE, Minn., (March, 2017) – Calling all performers searching for their chance to shine in a world apart. The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is pleased to announce auditions for the 2017 season. The auditions will be held on the Minnesota Renaissance Festival grounds on April 15th, 22nd, & 29th from 10am-2pm. We will also be holding Junior auditions on May 6th from 10am-12pm.
ANNOUNCING auditions & interviews for Impossible Salt! We are a collaborative of musical storytellers who believe that exploring the impossible--trolls, giants, magic spells, spaceships--reveals the possible. We are seeking to expand our roster of artists for the many exciting things we have coming up in the next year. This is not an audition for a specific show, but an opportunity for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you. If we're a good fit, we'll find a way to work together!

Seeking capable singers and dramatic actors for our third Fringe musical, A Year and Change: The Paul Wellstone Story. This is an original piece chronicling and dramatizing the life of the late U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, often referred to as "the conscience of the Senate" for his steadfast convictions and commitment to social justice and equality. The majority of the play focuses on Wellstone's final year in office, amidst the fallout of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the lead-up to the war in Iraq.

Looking for two actors to appear in scenes from my original screenplay that I am shooting for my MFA Program at Augsburg University. $50 stipend and footage for your reel. Will shoot in late April or early May. One half day commitment (about four hours).

These scene will be screened by faculty and students in the MFA screenwriting and creative writing program at Augsburg this summer.

Seeking actors for Actors Theatre of Louisville's Professional Training Company. Acting Apprentices perform in their own five-show season, focusing entirely on new works, and culminating in a commissioned work that is a fully-produced as a part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Small roles and understudy positions in the theater's mainstage season are possible, but not guaranteed. Practical audition and business-based training curriculum is provided throughout the year. Locally Grown Theatre will be hosting auditions for their 2016 summer show, “Aphrodite and the Legendary Love Letter”, an original work which features well known gods and goddesses from Greek Mythology in this original romantic comedy.

Wonderlust Productions and Park Square Theatre present Six Characters in Search of an Author (meets reality TV), and we need a young (under 30) male actor to play a "tech". You'll have a few lines and operate a live camera. You'll also be working with a great cast on an innovative production of a classic play. The stipend is $300.

Theatre 301 is in need of a Fiddler (male or female) and three or four adult male dancers for our upcoming production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF This is a community theater production located in Excelsior MN. Rehearsal schedule is light in the beginning but will ramp up the closer we get to the first of February. If you have ever danced in this show and would like to do it again, here is your chance! If you have always wanted to dance in this show, here is your chance! We will consider high school aged boys too.
