Native Actors Needed, Paid Hourly Position

Native Actors 18+, all gender expressions and identities and all abilities welcome to apply

Barbara Schneider Foundation's program, Indigenizing Crisis Intervention Teams in Indian Country, is looking for 5 actors to potentially act in training scenarios portraying individuals in crisis as part of classes to teach justice, health and education  staff and community members de-escalation techniques that can resolve crisis situations without use of force by achieving enough trust to gain voluntary compliance with steps to resolve the situation.   These trainings could take place in tribal homeland communities or ubran settings.   Dates TBD.  Actors would also be eligible to participate as well in other of BSF's Mental Health Crisis Response Institute trainings with communities, law enforcement, hospital and educational institutions. 


We will be holding an open house audition/training on Monday February 25th, from 6pm to 10pm, location TBD. If you would like to be considered, please email [email protected], with your headshot and resume.
