NTC is Casting for Fall and Winter Tours (June 10th)

The National Theatre for Children is seeking actors for its fall and winter tours on June 10th at its office in Golden Valley. NTC actors perform in two-actor troupes that tour a state performing in schools and teaching students about important societal issues. All of our shows are original, comedic pieces that touch on issues like water conservation, energy efficiency, financial literacy, nutrition, STEM, and others. Rehearsals last one week and are held at our building in Golden Valley. Our tours last six to eight weeks.

Actors must be 21 or older to apply and must have a valid driver's license to be considered. This is a paid position. We offer $400/week while touring on the road and a $200 rehearsal stipend. NTC provides lodging, touring vehicle, and budget for gas.

Please bring a headshot and resume. We will provide sides to read at the audition. Please arrive early to your time slot as there will be an audition form to fill out. However, you can print the form ahead of time, fill it out, and bring it with you to the audition. The audition form can be downloaded here. Sign up for an audition here.

No need to prepare a monologue. Actors will read sides from one of our shows. The cold reading will be followed by a 5-10 minute interview.

You do not need to live in the Twin Cities to audition for NTC. We have rehearsal housing and are happy to house actors from all around the midwest.
