The Ordway Center for Performing Arts and Teatro del Pueblo have designed a collaboration to deepen the impact of the arts through a series of activities that build equitable relationships, lift communities, and engage diverse artists in professional development and relationship building.
As a part of a two-year commitment to this work, we are pleased to announce a 6-session series of free classes in the fundamental disciplines of Music-Theatre Song Performance, Audition Techniques, Dance, and Musical Comedy scene study.
The 6 (SIX) sessions will be held at The Ordway Center on Mondays, beginning Feb. 27 through April 3, 2017.
Admission will be on a "first-come, first-served" basis, with no more than 25 students per class. Please submit your RESUME when applying.
NOTE: There will be TWO separate classes of 25 students EACH Monday; 1) from 4 pm - 6 pm, and 2) from 6 pm - 8 pm.
Applicants should be at least 20 years of age, with prior stage experience, AND COMMIT TO ATTEND ALL 6 CLASSES (Emerging professionals of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend).
