The Duluth Playhouse is currently seeking applicants for a Scenic Charge Artist.
The Charge Artist would take lead on and work closely with the Technical Director, production designers and volunteers in the finishing of scenic elements, primarily through painting to achieve the designer’s artistic vision. The Charge Artist is tasked with determining the proper techniques and materials in which to complete the look of the design.
Job Description: Manage technical production elements (including set building, light and sound production) of 3 mainstage shows per year. Design set and/or lights for 1-2 shows per year. Provide advice and assistance to student projects and productions. Hold student workshops to teach technical theater skills. The ideal candidate will have formal training or significant experience in technical directing as well as experience working with students in a school setting and creating a learning environment in the after-school activity process.
SOAR Regional Arts will be producing a Teen Intensive of Legally Blonde in June of 2017. We are still looking for the following staff.
Rehearsals are June 19th-June 29th from 9am-1pm. Dress Rehearsal, Tech Rehearsal, and Performance is June 30th from 9am-9pm.

SOAR Regional Arts will be producing the musical Annie! Annie will open on September 14th, 2017 and close on September 24th, 2017. Auditions will be June 19th-20 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Saint Michael MN. Callbacks will be June 24th from 10am-1pm in Saint Michael, MN. Rehearsals start July 31st in Saint Michael, MN. Park Square Theatre, located in Downtown Saint Paul, is looking for a Part Time Wardrobe Supervisor & Run Crew Dresser. Candidates will be responsible for the day to day upkeep of the production costumes, maintaining the wardrobe facilities, and occasionally working on individual shows as a Run Crew Dresser. The Wardrobe Supervisor reports directly to the Company Director.
