Exploring the Text: Play Analysis for the Actor and Director

Dive into the creative, complex and amazing world of the script – the starting place to prepare for both contemporary and classic plays. Students will continue developing their skills as actors and theater makers by learning how to identify and activate textual clues to enhance storytelling, spark actions, build characters, define relationships and engage audiences. Prerequisites: An intro-level theater course such as Theater Basics, Intro to Acting, etc. Class Capacity: 12
