Human Combat Chess, a yearly theatrical performance presented as as a sporting event, is looking for designers, stage managers, and other staff to fill out its production team for the 2019 shows.
Over the last 10 years, Human Combat Chess has involved over 250 performers, choreographers, designers, and stage managers. Every year since 2011, audiences have watched the “Championship Finals” of a fictional sports league, with backstories built around the unseen season of matches, and with ongoing storylines for individual characters lasting multiple years.

The Lex-Ham Community Theater is seeking persons to lead, co-lead, and/or assist with the costume design for its fall production of First Lady by Katharine Dayton & George Kaufman. The play is set among the political and diplomatic who's who of Washington, D.C. in the 1930s. The play opens on September 28 in Saint Paul. The play has a cast of about 25, so there are wonderful opportunities for creativity.
There is a $200 stipend for the lead costume designer.

We work with over 12,000 6th—12th graders in the Minneapolis school district each year.
