CLYTEMNESTRA: A queen and no mistake, mother to Iphigenia, Electra, Chrysothemis, and Orestes
ELECTRA: An extremely problematic woman in her late twenties or early thirties
CHRYSOTHEMIS: An enigmatic, cool presence, a few years older than Electra
ORESTES: A young man who has seen too much to be young anymore
THE CHORUS: Five young women, colleagues and contemporaries of Iphigenia

Please come prepared with a 1-2 minute contemporary dramatic monologue. This play is very poetic in its language, therefore a monologue that leans more poetic or abstract is appreciated. At auditions, you may be asked to read scenes from the script.
