John Woehrle has a BA in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and an MFA from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. He is a member of the Pacific Resident Theater in Los Angeles and a finalist in the McKnight Fellowship for Screenwriters with his first screenplay, WEST METRO. John has appeared on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, various soap operas and in film, but his most memorable role is "Lenny" in OF MICE AND MEN.

L'Opportunità Vocal Intensive Program Auditions

L’Opportunità Vocal Intensive Program is a rigorous two week program for young vocalists who desire to enhance and broaden their performance skills and knowledge of Art Song, Opera, and the Golden Age of Musical Theatre. Located at Saint John's University in Collegeville, MN, L’Opportunità offers students the chance to work closely with experienced faculty who have worked nationally and abroad.  This program is designed for those who are entering, pursuing, or recently completed an undergraduate degree program and looking to enhance their skills as a vocal performing artist.

Minnesota Shakes

Minnesota Shakes is a new acting program for 7th-12th graders and begins on January 23rd! If you are interested in the program now or want to be put on an email list for future sessions, please visit www.minnesotashakes.org. Minnesota Shakes is an extension of the highly acclaimed San Francisco Shakes program Upstart Crows. Aspiring Shakespearean actors will be able to participate in an intensive ten-week Saturday class that culminates with a Shakespearean production on April 16th.
