About the Play:
Isla Tuliro is an allegorical spin on the effects of colonialism on the evolution of language. The script uses Spanish and English the way Filipinos speak these two colonial languages in contemporary culture . . . a mashup of three languages made up of somewhat English, not so Spanish, but always Filipino.

History Theatre & Collide Theatrical Dance Company are seeking a male dancer/actor age 20’s-30’s for the lead role in a new piece about the Dance Marathon Craze of the 1930’s.
The role: Mostly dance (Musical theater jazz with strong ballet technique, partnering and Acro skills a plus) with some speaking parts. Cal is an ambitious, determined dancer in his mid-20’s who set a world record in 1933 after dancing with his partner for 3,780 hours.
The Old Log Theatre is looking for 6F singers and actors for our upcoming musical production of BEEHIVE directed by R. Kent Knutson. Rehearsals start May, 2018 and performances begin June 29, 2018 and run through September 22, 2018.
2018 MEDORA MUSICAL AUDITIONS
Looking for Singers, Dancers and Musicians for the 2018 Medora Musical in North Dakota. Please prepare two songs (an up tempo and a ballad). Bring sheet music in the correct key, a resume and an 8x10 photo. Dress to move for the dance portion of the audition. An accompanist and a CD player will be provided. Salaried positions, plus room, board and transportation provided. Rehearsal begin on May 3, 2018, the show opens on June 1st and closes September 8, 2018.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS -
We have been lax in our communication recently, (sorry) but that doesn't mean things aren't happening. Alot has been happening nationally that will (hopefully) have a positive effect on our local market.
1. Equity is working to make the website more useful, which includes updating your member portal with "liaison pages" for each of the 28 liaison cities.
2. We now have a new local Equity email address - we haven't begun to use ours yet, but will do that in 2018.
Seeking actors for Actors Theatre of Louisville's Professional Training Company. Acting Apprentices perform in their own five-show season, focusing entirely on new works, and culminating in a commissioned work that is a fully-produced as a part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Small roles and understudy positions in the theater's mainstage season are possible, but not guaranteed. Practical audition and business-based training curriculum is provided throughout the year. Industry showcase for casting directors and agents is included at the end of the season.
