Eleanora (Elsie) Åaske

Biography

Eleanora's most recent acting credits include The Penelopiad with Theatre Unbound and Eurydice at the Rochester Repertory Theatre.  Some of her more notable work has been in minimalist, physical, and ensemble-based theatre, providing musical underscore with the violin and found objects, as 1/5th of Peer Gynt in Peer Gynt, and as Mrs. Smith in The Bald Soprano.  She is most passionate about the intentional use of rhythm in storytelling and listening to the breath of the piece in its entirety in order to motivate creative choices.
