Eden Prairie Players seeks actors for their upcoming production of Inherit the Wind by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee
Synopsis: A dramatization of the famed "Scopes Monkey Trial" from the early 1900's. After a man teaches evolution in his classroom, violating a Tennessee law requiring the teaching of creationism, the trial becomes a national circus. As national reporters, big-city lawyers, and politicians with national ambitions descend on a town that's already largely made up it's mind, the literal and metaphorical temperature of the courtroom ratchets to a dangerous fever. One that will change the town, the law, and the nation forever.

Auditions
Sunday, December 10th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (Eden Prairie Community Center - 16700 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie 55346). Second floor.
Monday, December 11th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (Eden Prairie Senior Center - 8950 Eden Prairie Rd, Eden Prairie 55347). Lower level community room, park and enter in the back.
Auditions will consist of a 1-2 minute dramatic, contemporary monologue. Sides from the script will be available if you do not have a monologue prepared.
Please check to make sure you go to the proper place for auditions. If you accidentally go to the wrong spot, just join us when you can. We'll fit you in!

Rehearsals
Rehearsals will begin in early January 2024 and go through March. All rehearsals will be held in Eden Prairie.
Tech and Performances
Tech and performances will take place at PiM Arts High School in the Loading Dock Theater.
Tech week begins on Saturday, March 9th
Performances are March 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd at 7pm; 17th and 24th at 2pm
Strike will occur following the final matinee performance on March 24th. Note: Strike attendance is required for all production members.
