An Iliad by Lisa Peterson & Denis O'Hare
Presented by
Great River Shakespeare Festival
With one actor inhabiting over fifty characters, the addition of live music, and language that ranges from direct and contemporary to poetic, An Iliad grapples with humankind’s perpetual capacity for violence while exploring the beauty and brotherhood to be found in the midst of war. GRSF veterans Tarah Flanagan and Andrew Carlson alternate as the storyteller in the intimacy of the Dorothy B. Magnus Black Box Theatre.
*Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
