"...and Now This Happens."

The focus of the play is the killing of Daunte Wright by a Brooklyn Center Police Office and the subsequent protests.  Drawing from posts to neighborhood social media, the play reveals the story of a community dealing with a sudden social trauma while simultaneously awaiting the verdict in the trial of the police officer accused of murdering George Floyd.

Performance will be followed by an audience discussion of the issues of race and policing raised in the production.
