Comedy

The British are coming, again! History repeats itself at Phoenix Theater this summer for Sheep Theater’s remount of its successful 4th of July comedy, George. This wild show races through the lesser-known side to our nation’s birth, ie. George Washington was dead throughout the entire revolution after being killed by our founding fathers Thomas Jefferson and John Hancock. Well, it was an accident. Now, it is up to them to cover their tracks and save America from the dastardly King George and sneaky Benedict Arnold. Fun for all ages, unless you’re worried about your kid passing an American History exam. This irreverent comedy will have mostly everything you need to celebrate your patriotism (minus the fireworks).

-ATTENTION: This show contains loud noises, strobe lights, fog machines and stage violence.-

George is written by Joey Hamburger, directed by Michael Hugh Torsch, assistant directed by Jacob Mobley, produced by Iris Rose Page and performed by Sheep Theater.
