I Killed the Cow
SOLO STORYTELLING PUTS SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER STAGE
After an extended run in New York City at the United Solo Festival, New York-based theatre collective The Herd will present its one-woman show, I Killed the Cow, to the 2018 Minnesota Fringe Festival.
I Killed the Cow centers on one woman who kowtows and keeps her head down. Until Mother Cheetah struts in and thrusts her into the hip-grinding, cheetah-loving, animalistic wilderness of sexual reckoning. Will she be eaten alive? Will you?
The storytelling takes this timely topic and makes it accessible (even playful) for all audiences. The result is a confident testimony that lets audiences and families continue the conversation at home and in their communities.
