LMS presents: Becky Wilkinson Hauser and Erik Ostrom

Improv comedy inspired by local music.

Every month, a different local musician performs their original music. Having listened closely, the comedians from local improv group The Local Music Scene then improvise comedic scenes based on the lyrics.

Musical guest:
Becky Wilkinson Hauser (long-form improviser, storyteller, and actor) andErik Ostrom (songwriter, composer, musician) started a band when they found themselves singing in a room together one winter in Minneapolis. Their soft, soothing stories and soundscapes offer warmth and comfort in a world that can be bleak and cold.

The Local Music Scene is: Sarah Arnold, Laura Berger, Breanna Cecile, Liz Council, Jeff Gyllen, Nathan Kelly, Kelsey Dilts McGregor, Erik Ostrom,Shea Roberts, Will Roberts, and Philip Simondet.

They are an improv group that has trained and performed at various local improv theaters, including The Brave New Workshop, ComedySportz Twin Cities, HUGE Theater and Jesters.

All of them either ARE local musicians or enjoy local music. At the VERY least, they’ve heard the term "local music.”
