THE MOVIE:

A kindly grandfather sits down with his ill grandson and reads him a story, one that has been passed down from father to son for generations. As the grandfather reads the story, the action comes alive!

The Princess Bride is a classic tale of love and adventure as the beautiful Princess Buttercup, engaged to the odious Prince Humperdinck, is kidnapped and held against her will in order to start a war. It is up to Westley, her presumed dead true love, to save her.

Returning to Buttercup as the Dread Pirate Roberts, Westley faces a Sicilian, a Spaniard, and a Colossus! Adventure abounds as the band overcomes the Cliffs of Insanity, Fire Swamp, castle gates, and even death itself. All to find the answer to, "Will true love conquer all?"
