About the show:

About the guest:

Iowa-raised, Minneapolis-based Ben Cook-Feltz is a singer, songwriter, drummer and self-taught pianist. Combining observational, sometimes quirky lyrics with melodies that hearken back to the classic sounds of the 60′s and 70′s, he has been entertaining audiences throughout the Midwest as a dynamic performer, whether playing solo, with his crackerjack band, or backing up some of the finest regional talent. His upcoming record, BCF, will be released in early 2018.

About The Local Music Scene:

The Local Music Scene is Laura Berger, Breanna Cecile, Liz Council, Jeff Gyllen, Nathan Kelly, Kelsey McGregor, Erik Ostrom, Shea Roberts, and Philip Simondet.

They are an improv group that has trained and performed at various local improv theaters, including The Brave New Workshop, ComedySportz Twin Cities, HUGE Theater, and Jesters Improv Comedy.

All of them either are local musicians, or enjoy local music.

At the very least, they’ve heard the term “local music.”
