One Night Only!

Help the World Crime League raise some cash for our devious future!

Do you wanna see more Dead of Winters, F**ked-Up Xmas Specials, and other sinister staged stuff? Join the World Crime League this July for an evening of entertainment at the Off-Leash Art Box in Minneapolis!

Joining the World Crime League for the night will be three local theatre groups, presenting sneak previews of their Minnesota Fringe performances:

*The Moirologist by Andy Rakerd, presented by Life-Sized Meme Productions

*Rejection by Hailey Colwell/Developed by Theatre Corrobora

*The Buttslasher by Andy Rakerd, presented by New Endeavors Productions, our Dead of Winter co-producers!

For the second half of the evening, the World Crime League will present a staged reading of the show they WOULD'VE been presenting at Fringe this year, if the luck of the draw had been on their side: Andrew Rosdail's superhero dark comedy We Were Only Henchmen! Featuring the talents of Samantha Hedden, Chelsea Wren Hanvy, James Napoleon Stone, Andy Rakerd, and Christopher DeVaan!

In addition to these performances, there will be live music provided by Jeffery Goodson as well as raffles for stuff you didn't realize you wanted but need in your life!

Seating is very limited! All funds will go to the future of the WCL and will ensure all contributing artists in our future projects- the actors, designers, and playwrights, etc.-will be compensated fairly for their efforts.

$20 general admission
$15 w/ Fringe Button or Student ID

Content warning:

  • The Moirologist contains talk of death and suicide, as well as some audience participation.
  • The Buttslasher contains a good possibility of naked butts making an appearance.
  • We Were Only Henchmen contains hash language and violence. Although it won't be depicted at the reading, the script contains some gun violence.

About the World Crime League

The World Crime League is a new Minneapolis-based theatre company devoted to staging new works with a bit of an edge. We got our start in the 2016 Minnesota Fringe Festival with Andrew Rosdail's premiere play, Writer's Block. We love theatre with a dark comedic vibe and a hint of the macabre. More importantly, we want to provide a platform for up-and-coming artists to express themselves and flex their creative muscles.
