Triple Espresso tells the story of three guys whose bid for showbiz fame and fortune ended in 4-minutes of magnificent failure on national television. Hugh Butternut, Buzz Maxwell, and Bobby Bean tell their rags-to-rags story earnestly, with hysterical results. Butternut is a musician, a vulnerable soul with a lounge lizard smile; Maxwell is an uncertain magician with an attitude; and Bean is an irrepressible, all-over-the-map entertainer with big dreams. The laughter is infectious and the comedy appeals to everyone from first graders to college students to baby-boomers to grandparents.

Christopher Harris is a filmmaker whose films and video installations read African American historiography through the poetics and aesthetics of experimental cinema.  His work employs manually and photo-chemically altered appropriated moving images, staged re-enactments of archival artifacts and interrogations of documentary conventions.

It’s a typical morning in a small American town — until a rhinoceros charges down the street. No one is really alarmed, but Berenger soon discovers everyone around him is turning into a rhinoceros – his friends, his co-workers, the townspeople. He’s desperate to save them but no one will listen, until he’s left alone to question what it is to remain human in the face of the trampling herd. Provocative, funny, and frightening, Ionesco’s most renowned work has become a classic parable of social conformity – and human nature.

A primary focus of Jesse McLean's work is the power-and the failure-of the mediated experience to bring people together. She is motivated by a deep curiosity regarding human behavior and relationships, and the ways emotions are lived in an age of mediated experience. Her recent projects are connected to the fraught relationships people have with computers, technology we both rely on and resent, and in contrasting the finite capacities of the nonhuman with infinite human desires.
