Classics Lost ‘n’ Found Theater Company is pleased to announce their Summer 2021 production, 12th Night by William Shakespeare. The story focuses on a Viola and Sebastian, separated, so Viola dresses as a boy and goes to work for Duke Orsino, with whom she falls in love. Orsino, however, is in love with the Countess Olivia and sends Viola to court her for him. Olivia falls for Viola instead. When Sebastian shows up, confusion leads to mistaken identities being revealed and much more.

A two-fold event featuring a short performance piece where disabled artists will share their artistic origin stories, followed by a moderated discussion and public Q&A session. The panelists will discuss intersectional issues for communities of color and disabilities such as equitable casting, questions of representation, and accessible/inclusive rehearsal/performance practices.

 

Both events will have English closed captioning and
ASL Interpretation by Rosalinda Estrada-Alvarez.

Each event will be approximately 90 minutes.

Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Vernoica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized butt... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet.

Patron Advisory: Music Theatre International rates "Heathers" PG-13.

It contains strong language, mature content and deals with themes of mental illness, teen suicide, bullying, drug use, sexual assault and implied eating disorders. "Heathers" is recommended for audience members over the age of 14.

 

This production includes scenes of choreographed gun violence, simulated sex and sexual assault, and discussion and depiction of a hanging.
