MAY WEEKEND INTENSIVE
This Weekend Intensive Workshop will plunge you into the on-camera world of auditioning for commercials, film, and television projects. You will learn how to audition successfully as well as learn all of the inside industry know-how, from agents, casting directors, headshots, resumes, demos, interviews, script analysis, and more! All students are taped individually so that you will have the opportunity to see yourself on-camera and make necessary adjustments to improve this skill.
All levels of experience are encouraged to attend. Ages 17 and up are welcome!
Dates: Saturday, May 4 (9:30pm-3:00pm) & Sunday, May 5 (9:30am-3:00pm)
JUNE KIDS AND TEENS ON CAMERA ACTING CAMP
This summer camp is the perfect fit for the young actor to learn the tricks of the trade, such as how to take a script and make it your own, create a character, improvisation, cold reads and more. Class is kept to a minimum size so you will have maximum time on-camera. All students will participate in group exercises and receive individual on-camera coaching, so don’t miss out!
Dates are June 17-21, 6:30PM-9:30PM. Cost: $365.00
All levels of experience are welcome to attend! Ages 8- 17 are welcome!
JUNE ADULT ON CAMERA ACTING BOOTCAMP
Are you ready to take your acting to the next level? This all NEW exciting offering is for those serious about learning the professional techniques of how to immerse fully into character for the camera. Students dive into a deeper understanding of vocal quality, emotional work, improvisation, body language, and making strong and powerful choices. Drawing from film and television scripts, actors perform individually and with fellow actors in scene work. Students learn how to overcome fear, refine the craft and build confidence to book the job! All actors will be recorded to take home and review. Class is kept to a minimum size so you will have maximum time on-camera so sign up soon!
DATES: Sunday evenings, June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. 6:30PM-9:30PM. Cost: $365.00
All classes will be held at the Lynn Blumenthal casting office in the Designer's Guild Building, 401 N. 3rd Street, Minneapolis, MN, 55401.

ABOUT MICHELLE HUTCHISON
These popular classes are led by professional actress and acting coach, Michelle Hutchison. Michelle has worked as a professional actress for over 25 years on stage, in feature films, on television, and in numerous television commercials and industrial films. Locally she has appeared on many stages such as the Guthrie Theatre, The Mixed Blood Theatre, The Mary Worth Theatre Company, Park Square Theatre, The History Theatre, as well as a company member at Dudley Rigg’s Brave New Workshop. Her film and television credits include, “Fargo”, “My Best Friend’s Wedding”, “Herman, USA”, “Nobody”, “Into Temptation”, “Drop Dead Gorgeous”, Factotum”, “Thin Ice”, "Public Domain", ABC's "In An Instant" and as the recurring character, "Candy Coombs" on Netflix's "Lady Dynamite". Michelle has assisted Lynn Blumenthal Casting in films such as Disney’s “Ice Princess”, “Kicking and Screaming”, “Yours, Mine and Ours”, “Bad News Bears”, Paramount’s “The Last Airbender”, “Superbad” and many more. With this professional experience and wide range of history, Michelle has founded a following in her teaching and coaching skills. Her On-Camera Workshops have flourished over the last 15 years, and many of her students have improved dramatically from her incisive and personal coaching style. From adults to the very young, Michelle has reached many actors to become more truthful and dynamic in their on-camera auditions, and because of this tutelage she is proud that her students have booked television pilots, commercials and feature films.
