Audition for "Safety Off"

Auditions for Safety Off: A Theatrical Discussion on Gun Violence in America; nurtured through Arts Nest's Fledgling Program. Directed by Casey Marie. 

Performances will be at the Phoenix Theater:

September 14-16 & 21-23

Safety Off is a compilation of monologues and scenes meant to provoke a deeper conversation  about gun violence and gun control in the United States. Looking for actors who feel strongly about this topic and who want to use theatre as a means of change!

Auditions will be held Sunday, July 1st 11am-3pm and Monday, July 2nd 6-10pm, at the Phoenix Theater: 2605 Hennepin Ave. Minneapolis,MN

Callbacks will be held Thursday, July 5th if necessary.

Please bring headshot and resume and prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue.

Seeking up to 6 Actors:

Two African American: Any Age/Gender

One Young Female Actor, Age 10-16, Any Race

2-3 others, Any Race/Gender/Age


All Actors will receive a small stipend plus a percentage of box office sales.


Rehearsals will start mid-August (after fringe), Mostly Monday-Friday Evenings, with possible Sunday evening.
