  • Auditions will be held at Lyric Arts Main Street Stage, 420 E Main St, Anoka

  • Auditioners will be seen in order of arrival. No appointments are necessary.

  • Please come prepared with headshot (or other non-returnable current photo) and résumé

  • Please arrive with a calendar outlining all possible conflict dates between the first read-through and the final performance. (No conflicts for tech week or performance dates will be accepted.)

  • Stipend: $216 (with additional fees paid for extension performances, if scheduled)

Audition Preparation

Please prepare a one-minute, comedic monologue, and a short musical selection (no longer than 1 minute) of a song in the style of the show. Selections from Legally Blonde the Musical are acceptable. Please provide sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided.

 Elle Woods
The quintessential Valley Girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School and realizes that she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a bubbly personality.

Emmett Forrest
A smart and sensitive law student who takes Elle under his wing. He is charming, quirky, loveable, and friendly.
