ROLES WE ARE SEEKING TO FILL (each actor will be playing a main role and have additional ensemble roles):
Stacia's 63 year-old mother. She loves being “the mom”– helping, fixing, serving… doing whatever she can to “help out.”
(Plus additional ensemble roles: Intensive Care Nurse, Assisted Living Resident, Celtic Ancestor)
Sis (late 20s-40)
Stacia's 38 year-old sister. Mother of six. Homeschools her kids, but is one of those “cool" home school moms that runs a hobby farm and has her own winery. Passionate. Tends to wear her heart on her sleeve. She loves bringing people together.
(Plus ensemble roles: ED Nurse, Assisted Living Resident, Romani Ancestor)
Stacia's biological grandma (on her dad's side). Ukrainian accent. 83 years old. She’s full of wisdom, vim and vigor.
(Plus additional ensemble roles: Chief of Staff, Jewish Ancestor)
Sage (Female. 18—early 20s) Note: We are specifically looking to cast a multi-racial actor in this role.
18 year old part-time employee at Sunnybrook Meadows, an Assisted Living Facility. She’s got a hard exterior, but a heart of gold. Protective of herself and those she cares about. Suspicious at first, but fiercely loyal if she lets you into her life. (Plus additional ensemble role: ED Nurse)
Stacia’s 65 year-old father. High school biology teacher– The kind that truly inspired students. Saw the good in life and people. Fascinated by nature. Would have turned the house into a greenhouse with native bugs if his wife would have let him. She didn’t.
(Plus additional ensemble roles: Emergency Physician, Assisted Living Resident)
