Auditions for BAD EGG by Denzel Belin (Twin Cities Horror Fest)
Announcing auditions for BAD EGG, written, directed, and produced by Denzel Belin. This will show as a part of the 2022 season for the Twin Cities Horror Fest. BAD EGG is co-produced by Shalee Mae Cole Mauleón.
About BAD EGG:
She was a bag egg...or was she?
V, accompanied by four other Ticket Winners, finds their trip to The Factory is more than pure imagination - it's a living hell.
Fighting against assumptions, a crazed candy fueled hellscape, and the vicious, delicious threat of The Kook, see what happens when you peel back the candy coating and see what actually happened, from someone who was actually there.
This shows deals with physical and verbal abuse to adults and children. All physical violence will be staged in a dramatic way that gives illusion to the violence but does not replicate it.
In accordance with Twin Cities Horror Festival, we will follow all state and local laws/orders concerning venue capacity and safety measures (like masks mandates).

Cast:
Non-AEA
We are looking to cast 5 roles for this production. The role of The Kook has already been cast.
The role of V contains multiple monologues.
The other four roles will play multiple characters, sing, and dance throughout the show. Therefore we will be looking for actors of all ages and types to play out these roles.
We welcome all performers without regard to disability, race, color, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
We are offering a stipend of $125 for this production. This is a self-produced show, but we still think it is important to honor the professional contributions of everyone involved. A large part of the production budget is going toward artist stipends. The remaining budget is to cover costs of rehearsals space rentals and any props/set/costumes. Every artist involved in this production (including stage management and technical team) will be paid a stipend as well. It is the hope that we can offer the cast and crew an additional percentage cut of ticket sales from the festival.
