DOUBT A PARABLE by John Patrick Shanley

DESCRIPTION: In this Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students.
PERFORMANCES: Weekends September 23-October 16 and a PWYC night on Monday, October 3
IN-PERSON AUDITIONS: Sunday, July 10 & Monday, July 11 from 7 to 9 pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. No preparation necessary.
IN-PERSON CALLBACKS: Thursday, July 14 at 7pm.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
SISTER ALOYISUS – (Female-identifying, 50s/60s): The head nun and principal of St Nicholas Parish and School in the Bronx.
FATHER BRENDAN FLYNN – (Male-identifying, 30s/40s): A white Catholic priest at St. Nicholas.
SISTER JAMES – (Female-identifying, 20s): A member of the Sisters of Charity in the Bronx and a new teacher at St. Nicholas.
MRS. MULLER – (Female-identifying, 30s/40s): An African-American woman, the mother of Donald Muller, a new student at St. Nicholas
