Freshwater Theatre is thrilled to present the regional premiere of The Bucket List of Booze Club by Maureen Paraventi, and directed by Rachel Flynn. Bucket List is a whip smart and very real comedy/drama about a group of female friends navigating more than one kind of change of life in their 50s.
Collette’s battle with cancer forces her to confront a lifetime’s worth of regrets and face the fact that her smart, ambitious daughter Ree-Ree idolizes her “Aunt Jen,” much more than herself. Jen is a successful lawyer who’s been unsuccessful at love and is coming to the realization that she may be forever single. Lively grandmother Mary Ann has a much-younger boyfriend, Eric, who inadvertently makes her feel old. Amy is coping with classic Sandwich Generation challenges: an empty nest, an ailing parent and a dull, unsatisfying marriage.
All roles open to all ethnicities. We are casting for the following roles:
JENNIFER (50s) successful lawyer, Ree-Ree's godmother
COLLETTE (50s) battling cancer with the help of her daughter and friends
MARY ANN (50s) a new grandmother with a much younger boyfriend.
AMY (50s) navigating an empty nest and aging parents
REE-REE (20s) Collette’s daughter and caregiver, in law school
BARRY/MAN (50s) Collette's estranged husband, Ree-Ree's father
ERIC (30s) Mary Ann's boyfriend
