Lyric Arts’ Commitment to Diversity and Inclusive Casting

Lyric Arts is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are actively seeking a diverse cast of actors for THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY. All auditions shall be conducted in a manner that promotes fair consideration to persons of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, ability statuses, and body types.

Audition Requirements

Interested actors may audition in person or submit an audition online.

Please prepare a 60-second comic/semi-comic monologue from a published work. This monologue should use a dialect if the actor feels comfortable incorporating it. The audition may also include a read of a monologue from the show

Note: The scenic design for this show will be a single, multi-leveled set. There will be a great deal of stage business involving eating and drinking, entrances and exits, and general blocking with detailed business. Actors should feel confident and comfortable with multi-tasking and movement on a multi-leveled set.
